With China laying more road and building more buildings than anywhere else in the world, I can only hope that policy makers will catch onto this technology and invest.
Cement that Eats Carbon Dioxide Invented by British Scientists details the benefits:
According to Novacem, its product can absorb, over its lifecycle, around 0.6 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of cement. This compares to carbon emissions of about 0.4 tonnes per of standard cement
So, rather than spend the stimulus money on items that are not necessarily needed, perhaps Beijing will pick up on this become a leader… thus killing another bird by putting the pressure on the US to act as well.

1) Is that CO2 savings comes out by reducing proportion of clinker or cement has have properties to consumes more CO2 during hydration.
2) If cement is hydrated atmoshperically what is its implication on cement properties.
