For the last few months, I have been toying with the idea that I needed to make a concerted effort to capture moments where I see residents (foreign and local) treating the streets as if they are their personal waste cans.

Until a couple days ago, it remained a joke among myself a few friends, but while walking to the first Shanghai Blogger drinks on Thursday night, I came across the seen below and figured it was time to kick it off.

The pictures are pretty straight forward.  A contractor finished his work on the site  (in the background) and has placed the empty (almost empty) paint and paint removal cans on the sidewalk in front of the trashcan.

so, with that, I would like to encurage readers to send in their own pictures with a caption and the location of the shot (city/ street).  I have a couple other prjects in the making, but hopefully through this little project we can begin cleaning up the streets.
