Some basic details of the visit can be found at Time magazine’s article Greening China, and after watching the video, reading the article, and visiting both One Foundation and Climate Group websites I was able to still have some questions There is no substantive information on this program available online):

1) Who are their implementation partners for this project (One Foundation is regranting institution and Climate Group is Think Tank)
2) Who do Climate Group and One Foundation have in place to manage this project?
2) What is the size/ scale of the project – I hope it goes beyond solar street lights
3) Where is the funding coming from, and what are the budgets
4) What does is the representative size of a “village” and what are the current conditions on the ground there

  1. Curious to know if you think this sanitizes Blair’s political reputation to some degree — or all politicians wade in very murky waters? | I still think the man’s got the gift of the gab in a way that few of us could ever hope to approach. | Thanks for the clip though: what’s your honest take on Li’s pronouncements…not just in this clip, but in general?

If Blair can bring the goods, that is all that matters I guess, but then again if all they are doing is putting in street lights in a 1000 villages and doing nothing else… all the politics and pronouncements were for not.

My personal thought on Li, and many other celebrities, is that each have the ability to do good, or squander an opportunity and set us back.
