Cleantech in China and Social Media

Techexeccast’s has a Podcast of Weber Shandwick Senior Vice President William Brent that readers will be interested as it covers a few interesting topics: cleantech in China, value of social media, and the future of green.

For me, the best comment from William when he was framing the discussion about China’s unsustainable growth trajectory:

“It’s clear that if China, or India, or both start to increase consumption to the point where they are consuming to the same level as if they are living an American way of life, we are all just  screwed”

It is an interview that I think is very interesting, and is worth the download (download here).  If not interested, or not a believer of social media as a valid form of advertising for cleantech skip the section starting at 10:30 to 25… but check back in at minute 25 and listen until the end for an interesting wrap up on the death of “green”.
