HK Green Drinks
Thursday, November 5, 2009 5:15PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE – Green Drinks will be held this Monday 9th November, at the Philia Lounge at 4-8 Arbuthnot Road, Central. It is very close to Lang Kwai Fong, for a map visit http://www.philialounge.com/. We’ll be there around the same time, from 7pm onwards.
This month we will have two speakers talking about the issue of climate change. Jacqui Dixon, Hong Kong Director of CSR Asia and co-founder of Green Drinks Hong Kong will provide a brief overview of some of the key drivers and impacts of climate change. The second speaker will be Simeon Cheng – Group Environmental Manager for CLP Holdings Limited who will take a look at some of the discussions taking place in Hong Kong and at the global level in terms of how we are dealing with the climate change challenge. With over 16 years of experience in the environmental profession Simeon Cheng compiles CLP’s sustainability report and conducts environmental and climate change regulatory risk assessments for CLP. We are very happy to have him join Green Drinks this month.

There will be an informed audience from a wide range of backgrounds, so this new forum will facilitate spreading new ideas.
